Proposal to close Hampden Park Branch Surgery 1st April 2020

For those patients who use our Hampden Park Branch Surgery; please can you read the letter HERE about our proposed changes to happen next year.

If you would like to comment on the proposal, please email us on: manorpark@nhs.net

Repeat Prescriptions

You or someone you care for may benefit from using the NHS Electronic Repeat Dispensing service if you use the same medicines regularly. This service saves you time, it means you don’t need to request or collect your prescription from your GP practice every time you need a further supply. Your GP will ensure you are suitable for the service and produce a batch of prescriptions that can last up to 12 months. Please click HERE for more information.

Flu Vaccinations now available

Please call in to book your flu vaccination if you are over 65 years old or have a condition which entitles you to the vaccination. Anyone pregnant also qualifies.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We would like to confirm that Dr Tourle is currently off sick until further notice.

This means we will have a reduced number of GP appointments available on some days of the week.

We will be using GP locums where possible and many of you will be familiar with them as they usually work with us to cover the GP holiday and training days during the year.

We also have the very talented clinicians:

  • Paramedic Practitioner Martin
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner Claire

They are both able to prescribe so will be able to address any issues you would like to discuss with them.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support and we will continue to offer the very best service to you all that we can.

Proposed Boundary Change

We are looking to slightly reduce the practice catchment boundary and the map is showing you where we are looking to make those changes.  These changes are to help us ensure we can continue to provide safe services, given the reduced number of doctors we now have.

Existing patients will NOT be affected by the change in boundary, as we will not be asking anyone currently living in the purple shaded area to leave the Practice.

If an existing patient does subsequently move to a new address in the shaded area, at this point the new boundary rules will be applied.

Please click HERE for the map details.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.

We would like to confirm our latest inspection report has now been published and we have been given a GOOD rating in all accountable areas of care and management. Please read the full report in: Further Information: Care Quality Commission.

We now have a bookcase in the Manor Park Surgery waiting room where you can buy a book for £1 and all proceeds go towards purchasing patient focused equipment.

Book donations would be appreciated to keep this resource going. Many thanks.
