Dr Russell Brown MB ChB (1993 Leicester)

Lead Clinician and Senior Partner

I have been at Manor Park since April 1999. I am proud to be a family doctor and a Generalist and can't imagine doing anything else. I particularly enjoy the on-going relationships with my patients which has developed over time, both on an individual and a family level, as I consider continuity to be key in helping patients navigate any health-related issues they may encounter in their lives.

Dr Priyesh Patel

Dr Patel joined the team in 2023. He is an experienced GP and has moved to us from his previous practice in Burwash.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Mrs Claire Burge

Claire Burge is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who joined us in April 2019.

She is a highly trained clinician who is able to see the majority of our patients for a full range of conditions. She is also able to prescribe, so is able to write a prescription if appropriate.

Claire is a fantastic asset and we are very lucky to have such a well qualified clinician join our team.

Practice Nurse: Ms Kim Wishart

Kim is now working towards her Prescribing Qualification and runs a clinic on a Thursday supported by Dr Brown.

Other Health Professionals

Physiotherapist

If you have a painful joint or muscular pain, you will be referred immediately to our local inhouse physiotherapist to see if they can help you with your symptoms

Social Prescriber

Occasionally there may be problems that contribute to health care concerns, our Social Prescriber is here to help with any issues you may be facing outside of your health.

Pharmacist

Our Pharmacist deals with the majority of the routine prescription requests, hospital discharge medication requests and adhoc enquiries, you may be contacted directly by them rather than a receptionist

Nurses

Ms Kimberly Wishart

Kim is an experienced Practice Nurse and has joined us from a practice in Hailsham. She has many skills she is able to add to the nursing team and joined us in 2020.

Kim is currently studying for her prescribing qualification and has a Thursday clinic in house to develop those skills.

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Dee Lothian

Dee is an experienced Healthcare Assistant and will be joining us from Eastbourne Hospital.

Ms Verity Coleman

Verity is a new HCA and is a fantastic, enthusiastic member of the nursing team.

Practice Management

Mrs Anita Taylor

I joined GP Practice Management in 2011 from a background of 25 years in banking. This experience is used in the day-to-day management of the Practice and is a busy, challenging, enjoyable role.

I became a Partner in the business on 1st December 2019.

Administration

Lisa is our Reception Manager and joined the team in 2022. She is responsible for the smooth running of the administration team and will assist Patients in their day to day requests. Lisa will also be the first contact for any feedback or concerns a patient would wish to make.

Reception

We have a number of receptionists working hard to ensure that all patient requests are carried out and processed through the system. The role has developed over the last few years to become more complicated and demanding, so the training and abilities of the staff have increased to reflect the changing demands of the NHS.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Primary Care Network (PCN)

PCNs are groups of GP practices working closely together providing integrated services to the local population.

Our PCN is called Victoria PCN and consists of the following practices:
