Repeat Prescriptions
Requests for repeat prescriptions must be in writing, either using your repeat request slip or on a piece of paper which includes your name, address, date of birth and the medication that you are requesting.
Your request can be made by post, by handing your slip to our receptionists or placing it in the repeat prescription box.
Request Repeat Medication Online
You can also order your repeat prescription online, using the surgery Patient Access medical system via the link at the top of this page. In order to request your repeat prescription online you must have previously obtained the necessary security codes from reception.
Collections
You should allow 2 working days for your request to be processed. Many local chemists also provide a service where they will deliver your repeat prescription request to us, although extra time should be allowed for this.
If you do not wish to collect your repeat prescription we will forward it on to you if you have included a stamped addressed envelope. Alternatively you can ask for it to be collected by one of the local chemists who offer a collection service (please enquire with our receptionists for further details).
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
